The position of "one country, two systems" is a concept put forward by Deng Xiaoping for the settlement of the question of China's reunification. The concept of "one country, two systems" respects history and the prevailing situation. Therefore, it is reasonable, practical and workable.

The Chinese Government has smoothly resumed the exercise of its sovereignty over Hong Kong and maintained the stability, prosperity and development of Hong Kong in accordance with the concept of "one country, two systems". People have reason to believe that Macao question and the Taiwan question can also be successfully settled in accordance with the concept of "one country, two systems" to achieve a complete reunification of China.
